Welcome to the South African - American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast!

SAACOC is a groundbreaking new endeavor that seeks to promote the exchange of business, trade, investment, technology, and culture between South Africa and the United States.  We will provide information, services, and programs that facilitate business growth, profitability, and success for members, and support members in developing business opportunities and strategic partnerships in South Africa and the United States.

The Southeastern United States has long been a destination for South Africans from diverse backgrounds.  The business opportunities, welcoming sense of community, ease of accessibility to South Africa by means of direct flights, and the mild weather are all key factors in bringing South Africans to the Southeast.  Increasingly, too, many American companies are interested in investing and doing business in South Africa.  The wealth of experience that South African immigrants bring to the Southeastern business community makes this the ideal location for a bilateral chamber that facilitates such business partnerships.

The focus of the chamber will be business. For this reason, we will host networking events to expose our members to each other and also to other businesses in the general communities, both in South Africa and in the U.S. We have members in many other states besides Georgia so we look forward to developing a strong business network of South African and American businesses throughout the United States from our base in Atlanta.

In addition, we seek to become the main portal for inbound and outbound business between the United States and South Africa. We will offer key online resources for businesses that will be relocating or considering relocation or expansion. Such companies will also have the opportunity to access our membership in order to find new business partners.

We will also equip you to develop your business by offering events with featured speakers on topical issues, such as immigration, international and domestic tax, business growth and development, human resources, and cultural etiquette. We always welcome your input about the types of programs you would like us to present.

We hope that you will not only join us as we grow the chamber, but also get involved by joining a committee. This is the best way to build deeper relationships. If you are interested in joining a committee, please contact us and we will help you find a committee that best suits your interests.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of SAACOC, I wish to convey how very excited we are to promote business development between South Africa and the United States. I look forward to meeting you personally at the next event! Please feel free to contact us at info@SA-USABusChamber.com should you need additional information.
